Thank you for the warm welcome you gave our General Synod visitors on Sunday, and thank you to Margaret Rolfe and her team who provided the wonderful lunch (and George Richards for catching the fish!) and to Owen for serving the wine.

There were two 'firsts' for our parish.  Having three Indigenous Anglican clergy greeting us, and having four Anglican bishops in our congregation.  (We invited two, and we got four!)    They were most appreciative of our welcome, liturgy and hospitality and have asked me to thank you all.
The bishops who joined us were Bp Jenny Andison (Diocese of Toronto), Bp Tom Corston (Diocese of Moosonee), Bp Susan Bell (Diocese of Niagara) and Bp David Edwards (Diocese of Fredericton).   It was a wonderful connection with the wider Anglican Church of Canada, as we worshipped God together.  Thank you to Annabelle, Tegan. Annika, and our church choir for the great music.
